Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP.,a global leader in intellectual property law, has created a new Reporting Analytics Manager role to elevate how the firm manages complex, high-value client relationships.
This is a pivotal role for someone who excels in partnering with finance, client operations, partners, and firm leadership, bringing clarity, discipline, and momentum to key decisions.
The Reporting Analytics Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to help ensure the firm's financial performance is well-managed, clearly communicated, and aligned with long-term priorities, building confidence and operational stability across the firm.
The role in action: Optimize and oversee the firm's end-to-end financial planning and analysis processes Translate complex financial performance data Strengthen financial visibility through advanced modeling, KPI monitoring, and executive-level reporting Elevate the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial reporting We are seeking candidates who:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred. 4+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within a professional services environment (law firm preferred). 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of professional services finance and operations, including billing structures, client/matter profitability, and partner compensation. Proven ability to build and manage financial models; advanced proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Experience with professional services financial management systems (e.g., Elite, Aderant) or comparable enterprise platforms, with a focus on process improvement and optimization. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial and client information.
