We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to overall warehouse productivity. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and drivers to coordinate material movement and ensure timely deliveries and shipments. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and operational efficiency, is paramount. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, good physical stamina, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers efficiently.
- Move pallets and other materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as sweeping, organizing, and basic maintenance.
- Practice safe Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency in all logistics operations.
