About
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise will be critical in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety of our workforce. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement preventative maintenance schedules for a variety of machinery, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and other material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repair on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs.
- Must be comfortable with manual tasks and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
