Your primary responsibility will be to locate and retrieve items from inventory using an order sheet or scanning device. You will also be responsible for verifying order accuracy, ensuring correct quantities and product codes are selected. In this position, you will be expected to meet performance targets for picking speed and accuracy, contributing directly to our overall operational efficiency. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also a key component of this role, promoting safety and productivity. - Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Efficiently navigate the warehouse to locate items.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, reaching, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity and accuracy goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
