About
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler for our Fort Worth, Texas facility. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials throughout our logistics center. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, assist with loading and unloading trucks, and contribute to maintaining an organized and safe workspace. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload materials onto and from trucks, pallets, and other conveyances.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report any necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including proper lifting methods.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Support the shipping and receiving departments as needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Strong awareness of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
