About
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be performing daily equipment inspections, adhering to all safety regulations, and participating in general warehouse duties as needed. The position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus. We emphasize the importance of wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations within our Logistics department. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform inventory counts and checks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily pre-operation forklift inspections
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven forklift operating experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Commitment to Safety and wearing PPE
