We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to handle a variety of tasks within our bustling distribution center. This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our logistics network, involving everything from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization and efficiency of the warehouse, ensuring that products move smoothly through our facility. A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety are paramount for success in this demanding yet rewarding position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (certification may be required).
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as directed by supervisors.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy items (up to 60 pounds) repetitively.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
