Join our busy warehouse in Madison, Wisconsin, as a Reach Truck Operator! This position is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our facility. You'll operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory, ensuring that our logistics operations are streamlined and effective. Safety is paramount, and you'll be expected to perform daily pre-operation checks on your equipment and adhere strictly to all safety protocols. Your ability to maneuver in tight spaces and handle various types of merchandise will be key. We are looking for motivated individuals who understand the importance of accuracy and speed in a warehouse setting. Prior experience with reach trucks is highly desirable, as is a strong commitment to safe operating practices. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through reliable and efficient warehousing. - Safely operating a reach truck to move pallets and materials.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Conducting routine inspections of the reach truck and other warehouse equipment.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stock rotation and put-away.
- Following all company Safety guidelines and best practices for warehouse operations.
- Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times as required.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and material handling.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive work environment.
