Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and sorting systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance, including proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team by minimizing downtime and ensuring operational readiness.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse maintenance or as a maintenance technician.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with various tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and experience with PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in various warehouse conditions.
