About
Our Kansas City, Missouri facility is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dedicated logistics team. This role is essential for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store a variety of goods, ensuring that all operations comply with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move pallets, materials, and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and promptly.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement and inventory locations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure efficient flow of goods within the logistics operation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification is required. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts is essential. Must have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols. Ability to perform safe Lifting and material handling is necessary. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment are critical.
