We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is essential for the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center, supporting our extensive logistics operations. You will be responsible for handling a variety of materials, from small components to larger items, ensuring they are moved, organized, and stored correctly. The Material Handler plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and distribute materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Transport materials to designated areas, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and reporting stock levels.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering strictly to Safety guidelines.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is desirable.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, bending, and standing.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of Safety protocols within a logistics setting.
