About
Our fast-paced logistics center in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our facility. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and store a variety of products. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Safety is our utmost priority; you will be required to adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow established protocols for safe lifting and equipment operation. We are looking for individuals who are physically capable, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move, store, and retrieve inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Report any operational issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Support receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse productivity and efficiency.
