Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse. This position requires a skilled and certified operator who understands the importance of safety, precision, and productivity in a busy Logistics environment. You will operate various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, and adherence to all Safety regulations is non-negotiable. This role involves significant Lifting and requires individuals who can manage the physical demands of the job. Your role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. Responsibilities include operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently, loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers, moving materials to designated storage areas, assisting with inventory cycle counts, inspecting forklift equipment daily and reporting any issues, and adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires individuals comfortable with Lifting requirements and a deep understanding of warehouse Logistics. Maintaining a strong focus on Safety is paramount.
