Job Summary:
Join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas, as a Material Handler. This position is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods throughout our facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, storing, and retrieving materials using various equipment. Your diligence in handling materials safely and accurately contributes directly to our operational success. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
  • Transport materials between different departments or storage locations within the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and organizing stock.
  • Ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervision promptly.
  • Support the logistics team in meeting daily operational targets.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform manual lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
