Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Worker in Jacksonville, Florida! This is a foundational role within our logistics operations, contributing to the smooth running of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Your diligence and efficiency are key to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining accurate inventory. This role provides a great entry point into the world of warehousing and logistics, with a strong focus on workplace Safety and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations according to order details.
- Pack items carefully and securely for shipment.
- Label and stage outgoing orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment (training provided for suitable candidates).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Tasks will include regular Lifting of boxes and materials, sometimes up to 40 lbs.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and performing significant Lifting.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Reliable and punctual.
