We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. Responsibilities include receiving and unloading goods, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will play a key part in ensuring our warehouse runs efficiently and safely. We provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and emphasize adherence to strict safety protocols. The position involves physical work, including significant lifting and movement of materials. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely and apply appropriate shipping labels.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Assist with loading trucks for outgoing deliveries.
- Support overall logistics operations and team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor setting is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety and the importance of using PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts is a plus.
