Join our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to contribute to the efficient flow of goods. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Process and put away received goods into designated storage locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning technology.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (if certified).
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
