We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Boise, Idaho. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of Safety. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining inventory integrity within our logistics facility. This role requires you to enforce Safety protocols, manage PPE distribution, and oversee tasks that may involve significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and resolve discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and employee performance.
- Ensure all staff are properly trained on Safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to effectively manage staff and delegate tasks.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including moderate Lifting up to 40 pounds when necessary.
- Commitment to promoting a Safety-first culture and ensuring appropriate PPE usage.
