We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our vibrant logistics operations in Miami, Florida. This role is essential for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will handle loading and unloading shipments, transporting materials, and stocking inventory. Your precision and adherence to Safety protocols are paramount. We are committed to providing a secure working environment and expect all team members to follow company policies, including the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Transport goods accurately from receiving docks to designated storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and Safety-conscious work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, procedures, and traffic rules, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff to ensure efficient logistics and workflow.
- Follow specific loading and unloading procedures to prevent damage.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining high standards of quality and Safety.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional heavy Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Willingness to wear and use all required PPE.
