About
We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders and preparing them for shipment. This is a vital position within our logistics operations, ensuring our customers receive their products efficiently and correctly. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Safely package items for shipment, using appropriate materials and methods.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse policies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away when required.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
