About
We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their correct orders in a timely manner. You must be detail-oriented, possess good physical stamina, and have a strong commitment to workplace Safety. The ability to work independently and meet performance targets is essential. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Locate items in the warehouse and retrieve them efficiently.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package orders securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Stage completed orders for shipping in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counting.
- Perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
- Must be capable of moderate Lifting.
