Job Summary:
We are hiring an Inventory Clerk for our San Jose, California warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficient flow of goods within our logistics facility. The Inventory Clerk will perform various tasks including cycle counting, receiving, stocking, and data entry to ensure the integrity of our stock. A strong focus on accuracy, organization, and adherence to safety procedures is paramount. You will work closely with the Inventory Control Specialist and warehouse team to resolve discrepancies and maintain optimal inventory levels.   • Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Receive, identify, and process incoming inventory accurately.
  • Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in a timely manner.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Use appropriate PPE and follow all Safety procedures.
  • Support the logistics team with inventory-related tasks, including occasional Lifting of materials up to 40 lbs.
  • Identify damaged goods and report them according to procedure.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
  • Familiarity with WMS is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of Logistics operations.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
