Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts after certification).
- Organize and stack materials to ensure efficient space utilization and accessibility.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Support inventory control efforts through accurate material handling.
- Follow all company and regulatory Safety guidelines without exception.
- Properly wear and maintain all assigned PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including significant Lifting (up to 70 lbs) and moving of heavy objects.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic Logistics principles.
- Strong dedication to Safety practices and correct use of PPE .
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
