About
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our vital logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our distribution center. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring that inventory is accessible and ready for order fulfillment. You will operate various types of forklifts, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to Safety, adherence to regulations, and a good driving record are paramount for this position within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage products neatly and securely.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations, company policies, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience operating forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 70 lbs., as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to Safety and awareness of potential hazards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must follow all PPE guidelines.
