Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order instructions.
- Verify picked items against order lists or scanning technology.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure products are protected during transit.
- Move picked orders to designated packing or shipping areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work zone.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory tasks as required.
- Report any errors or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the necessity of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic familiarity with logistics principles.
Working Conditions:
This job is performed in a warehouse setting, which may have varying temperatures. It involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting.
