About
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Antonio, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the smooth flow of goods, and supporting overall warehouse operations. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for tracking stock levels, performing cycle counts, receiving and putting away inventory, and assisting with discrepancy investigations. Your meticulous attention to detail will directly impact our efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record and update inventory data in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and properly store goods.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in inventory.
- Assist with organizing warehouse stock and maintaining a clean and orderly storage environment.
- Support the logistics team by providing timely and accurate inventory information.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Handle a variety of inventory-related tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
- Familiarity with WMS software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including standing, walking, and moderate Lifting for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all Safety protocols.
