About
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Portland, Oregon. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customers receive their correct products in a timely manner. You will work with RF scanners or pick lists to locate and gather items, verifying product codes and quantities to maintain inventory accuracy. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at a steady pace, and a commitment to safety. You will be expected to navigate the warehouse effectively, which may involve walking, climbing ladders, and performing tasks that require moderate lifting. We pride ourselves on our safety-first culture, so strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify item numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in picking zones.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
