Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations in Seattle, Washington. This role is vital for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, ensuring a safe and productive working environment. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and carrying out repairs on various warehouse machinery and systems. You will collaborate with the logistics team to minimize downtime and ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and Safety protocols. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding high standards of operational excellence. You will also be expected to adhere to all PPE requirements and safe work practices, including those related to machinery operation and occasional Lifting of components. Your expertise will be critical in supporting our overall Logistics network and ensuring the continuous smooth operation of our Seattle facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, automated systems).
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Respond to urgent repair requests to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure all equipment is compliant with relevant Safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in repair work.
  • Adhere to all PPE requirements relevant to maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Be prepared for tasks involving moderate Lifting of equipment parts.
  • Support the overall Logistics operations through reliable equipment performance.
  • Champion a culture of Safety and proactive maintenance.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role. Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery. Knowledge of industrial Safety regulations. Experience with Logistics systems is a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Capacity for Lifting up to 60 pounds. Must be comfortable using a variety of tools and equipment. Commitment to using PPE .
