As an IT Software Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will oversee the QA team to ensure that our software applications meet quality and compliance standards. You will collaborate closely with development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to drive testing strategies, implement best practices, and enhance overall software reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of QA analysts and testers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration
Work alongside Project Management team to ensure software meets business and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest quality standards
Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including manual and automated testing
Collaborate with development and business teams to identify, document, and resolve defects
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
Monitor and report on QA metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance QA processes
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, or other related fields within the insurance industry (Underwriting, Risk Management, Loss Control, Claims)
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
