About
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager who thrives in a structured, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and motivated by building predictable, repeatable systems. You should be comfortable managing complexity, analyzing performance metrics, and working cross-functionally across operations, fleet, compliance, and customer service.
This role requires hands-on leadership—someone who will not only manage but understand the technical workflow behind route operations, facility processes, inventory movement, and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Lead
Operations & Routing
- Oversee route planning, optimization, and service execution to improve route density, delivery accuracy, and customer service.
- Ensure proper management and accountability of CDL drivers and service teams.
Fleet & Equipment Oversight
- Partner with Fleet Manager and service teams to ensure fleet readiness, maintenance standards, and truck utilization metrics.
- Understand basic mechanical systems related to oil handling, pumping equipment, and install processes.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to DOT, OSHA, EPA, and food safety requirements.
- Conduct audits, maintain documentation, and lead corrective actions when needed.
Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
- Manage and understand branch P&L, labor metrics, fleet cost drivers, and operational KPI performance.
- Produce accurate operational, payroll, compliance, and financial documentation on schedule.
Leadership & Talent
- Lead managers and front-line employees with clear expectations, structured accountability, and measurable outcomes.
- Participate in hiring, coaching, development, and performance management using a structured evaluation approach.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you operate with a high degree of accuracy, structure, and logic. You prefer working with clear procedures, defined expectations, and measurable outcomes.
Required Experience:
- 3+ years branch, multi-site, or facility operations management
- 3+ years CDL driver and field-based workforce management
- 3+ years route or logistics management
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Experience within cooking oil, industrial service, or food-grade distribution strongly preferred
Additional Skills:
- Proficient with operational systems, reporting tools, and data analysis
- Strong understanding of accountability-based leadership
- Ability to troubleshoot process breakdowns and identify root cause—not symptoms
Who Thrives Here
You’ll excel in this position if you:
- Favor structure, standards, and systems over improvisation
- Naturally investigate abnormalities in KPIs and process flow
- Communicate clearly and set expectations early
- Prefer consistency, predictability, and control of moving parts
- Are motivated by building operational efficiency and eliminating waste
Ready to Apply?
If you’re a leader who values accuracy, process discipline, and operational clarity—and you want to lead a team that shares those standards—we encourage you to apply.
