CMK Resources is hiring a Network Engineer
Are you a hands-on Network Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges while also contributing to impactful projects? This role gives you the opportunity to work across a dynamic, multi-site environment where your expertise directly supports business operations and growth.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll take ownership of both day-to-day network support and key infrastructure initiatives. You will:
Design, implement, and support network environments including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network segmentation Configure and maintain core infrastructure such as firewalls, VPNs, and network servers Support and enhance Windows-based environments, including Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RDS, file/print services) Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to ensure uptime and performance Partner with internal teams and external providers to maintain security and infrastructure integrity Contribute to infrastructure improvements by prioritizing enhancements aligned with business needs You may also have the opportunity to:
Work with SD-WAN technologies and vendor/carrier relationships Support cloud platforms and identity tools like Office 365 and Okta Participate in or lead infrastructure-related projects Help scope, plan, and estimate technical solutions What you bring
You're someone who enjoys balancing hands-on technical work with broader infrastructure improvements.
Core experience:
3-5+ years in network or infrastructure roles Strong experience in Windows environments and core infrastructure services Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) Ability to manage both operational support and project work Nice to have:
Experience in multi-site or distributed environments Exposure to SD-WAN or cloud-based identity platforms Bachelor's degree in a related field How you work
You approach problems with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders You take ownership from implementation through stabilization and ongoing support You collaborate effectively across teams and priorities What to expect in this role
A mix of office and on-site work across operational environments Occasional hands-on work with hardware (up to ~40 lbs) and infrastructure setups A standard 40-45 hour work week with occasional on-call or off-hours support Travel to regional facilities as needed Why this role is a great opportunity
