POSITION DESCRIPTION:

BRANCH MANAGER

Department: BRANCH OPERATIONS

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Senior Branch Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch. Ensures established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees the provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members. Trains, directs, and supervises branch staff. In addition to meeting sales goals, this position is responsible for resolving member and employee issues/problems. May hold insurance licenses and must maintain appropriate continuing education as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed, and are subject to change:

  1. Supervises work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations.
  2. Ensures operations are conducted in accordance with established CTFCU policies and with legal and regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensures branch security. Opens and closes the building in accordance with set hours and test security equipment quarterly.
  4. Acts as a Loan Officer, processing and approving member loans within established policies and limits.
  5. Supervises and assists with member service functions. Cross sells CTFCU services.
  6. Implements changes to established policies and procedures within the branch.
