I`m hiring an Information Security Manager for a burgeoning energy company focusing on renewable sources and sustainable practices. Their focus on wind, solar, and hydro power reflects a commitment to reducing carbon emissions, driving innovation, and advancing green technology globally.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Autonomously oversee the implementation and evolution of the information security strategy and management system throughout the organization, including establishing, implementing, operating, and monitoring the central ISMS platform.
• Ensure all ISMS activities align with legal mandates and internal directives, encompassing implementing and overseeing appropriate control and governance measures, conducting regular compliance audits, and proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.
• Coordinate and evaluate working groups` outcomes within the Information Security Board of the Group, conducting analyses and participating in audits across relevant domains.
• Develop and oversees training programs to enhance ISMS awareness.
• Represent the CISO internally and externally in strategic and operational committee work and works actively in the relevant associations

This role is hybrid one to two days a week in Hannover.

Essential:

• Several years professional experience
• Good practices in implementing ISMS
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, BSI, NIST, GDPR etc.
• Experience in leading information security programs
• Expereince in risk management and budget management
• Good communication skills
• C1 German and English
