Your RoleAs a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team to facilitate learning opportunities and promote positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Building positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A suitable degree-level qualification.
- Previous successful teaching experience, preferably in KS1/2.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong behavior management skills and techniques.
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
