Job Description

Providing Risk Management Framework support services for the management and processing ofAssessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems and applications used and operated by Government customers. Planning, developing, and conducting Test & Evaluation requirements. provide engineering and technical analysis to perform various system certification and accreditation support functions. Services include knowledge and experience related to, but not limited to, network/system configuration, design, planning, management, Information Assurance (IA) compliance, and Certification & Accreditation requirements. Provide analysis and guidance for application architectural enhancements for items such as IA compliance, high availability, scalability, capacity planning, network design, cable plant, and IP management. Apply defense in Depth methodologies and Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) processes and procedures.

Occasional travel is required up to 20% of the time per year.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and the documentation requirements associated with a Navy Security Authorization Package under RMF.
  • In-depth familiarity and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems and infrastructure (Including PIT systems); applying Navy RMF guidance to Navy A&A.
  • Experience in allocating assigned security controls into assessment objectives and procedures, executing Security Assessment Plans by selecting, tailoring, and applying appropriate assessment methods, depth, and coverage, and applying sequencing to reduce duplication of effort and provide cost-effective assessment solutions.
  • Hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of IA / INFOSEC concepts and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the DOD A&A process and standards System/network vulnerability analysis, Risk assessment and risk mitigation analysis.
  • Knowledge in Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), contingency planning, firewall policies, Ports & Protocols, Cybersecurity, and Cybersafe.
  • Possess current passport.
  • Possess Secret Clearance.
Additional Information

Education:

  • Five (5) years of practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E, or an A&A-relate
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial-related discipline; without a college degree, greater than seven (7) years’ practical experience is required.
  • Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) eMASS Training.
  • Training in one of the following: DISA Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); Tenable Compliance Auditing; Tenable Nessus Advanced Capabilities.
