As a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer specializing in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and GPU technologies, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale GPU and HPC clusters. Your expertise will be crucial in overcoming challenges in both proof of concept and production environments while delivering innovative solutions through advanced coding and scripting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy automated tools for cluster deployment using Terraform and Ansible. Collaborate with Oracle's leading clients to drive business growth through pre-sales activities and technical consulting. Design customized HPC/GPU solutions tailored to unique business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers in best practices for advanced GPU solutions and workload migration to the cloud. Educate clients about Oracle's value proposition and engage in detailed architectural discussions for optimal cloud deployment. Act as a technical liaison, facilitating communication between customers, core engineering teams, and support staff. Ideal Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of IaaS, HPC, GPU technologies, Linux OS, networking, and security essentials for GPU/HPC applications in the cloud. Experience in creating HPC/GPU deployments both on-premises and in the cloud, including cloud-native solutions. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and shell/bash. Hands-on experience with deployment automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, RDMA, InfiniBand, cluster networking, and execution of MPI jobs. Familiarity with distributed/parallel file systems and storage solutions. Experience with GPU technologies and GPU-driven applications. Proficient in HPC cluster deployment and scheduling tools like Slurm or PBS. Knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker. Education:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Business Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales or technical consulting roles, with deep understanding of large customer collaboration challenges. Leadership Qualities:
Strong skills in evaluating and consolidating technical content and emerging technology trends are essential. Proven experience in collaborating with teams to define product roadmaps and tailored program initiatives is important. Innovative Approach:
