What You'll Do
* Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components used throughout our manufacturing operations. * Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machinery and coordinate timely repairs to keep operations running smoothly. * Support automation initiatives by integrating and optimizing robotics, PLCs, and control systems. * Partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability and overall operational efficiency. * Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment - including advanced automated systems. * Ensure all electrical work meets safety standards, codes, and internal policies. * Create and maintain accurate documentation such as schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports. * Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff on electrical and automation systems. * Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for electrical or automation-related issues.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required). * Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus - but not required. * Knowledge of robotics, PLC programming, and industrial automation is strongly preferred. * Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuits, controls, and industrial equipment. * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
