Top Required Skills:
1) Linux Systems Engineering • LAMP Stack - Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
2) Docker Container Orchestration • Experienced in Container Orchestration • Automation deployment with Docker • Performance Scaling using Docker • Management of containerized applications • Heavily Docker oriented infrastructure
3) Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Minimum 2 Years' experience with AWS for cloud infrastructure • Experience troubleshooting within AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC -networking experience) • Build deployments and maintaining application stability within AWS & Linux • Application Troubleshooting within AWS & Linux
4) Jenkins • Jenkins for the continuous delivery pipeline • Build and deployment -using Jenkins for CICD deployments • Scripting within Jenkins using Groovy
Other nice to have skills: • Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) • Must be experienced with building infrastructure as a service and/or infrastructure as code • Preferred tools are CloudFormation and/or Terraform • Experience with similar infrastructure as code tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, is applicable as well • Experience or a background in Elastic Search, Jenkins, and Java • Experience supporting Java applications
The Cloud/DevOps Engineers are responsible for: • Docker Container Orchestration • Building AWS Cloud Infrastructure • Experience maintaining and writing infrastructure as code with Terraform • Experience improving process and workflow around application development • Supporting Java applications • Experience with build and automation tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery • Using Jenkins for CICD deployments • Scripting within Jenkins using Groovy • Troubleshooting Linux systems and maintaining performance • Troubleshooting within AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC -networking experience) • Resolve network connection issues (web servers and databases) • Troubleshooting cloud environment within AWS • Additional Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby) • Experience using Jenkins for continuous delivery pipeline
