Our client is seeking a Process Safety Expert to support manufacturing sites in Cork with the day-to-day implementation of their process safety program. The role also contributes to a Life Science Process Safety Center of Excellence, helping implement corporate process safety governance across the business.

Responsibilities
- Develop compliance programs and site operating plans to meet process safety requirements
- Maintain and track process safety actions
- Support CapEx projects with process safety deliverables, including HAZOP reviews and pre-startup safety reviews
- Facilitate process hazard analyses and coordinate consequence modelling
- Provide expertise in areas such as risk assessment, chemical reactivity, fire protection systems, and mechanical integrity
- Bachelor's degree in health and safety or engineering
- 7+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably xcfaprz chemical or pharmaceutical
- Experience implementing process safety programs and leading HAZOP studies and other hazard analyses
- Knowledge of Irish and EU process safety legislation including Seveso III, COMAH, and ATEX
