About
*What You'll Actually Do:*
* Run discovery calls to uncover what clients really need (not just what they ask for)
* Transform business problems into detailed technical requirements developers love
* Plan and manage sprints for several concurrent client projects
* Present solutions and demos that make clients say "that's exactly what we wanted"
* Work directly with our remote development team to ensure quality delivery
* Become the trusted advisor clients text when they have "quick questions"
*Your Typical Week:*
* Monday: Discovery call with new client, write up requirements
* Tuesday: Sprint planning with devs, client check-in calls
* Wednesday: Review delivered features, update project timelines
* Thursday: Stakeholder presentation, scope next phase
* Friday: QA testing, documentation, planning next week
*You're Perfect If You Have:*
* 3+ years managing software projects from discovery to delivery
* Experience at a software agency or consultancy (not just in-house)
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping balls
* Strong technical knowledge (can explain APIs, databases, integrations)
* Experience managing remote/offshore developers
* Excellence in client communication and expectation management
*Required Skills:*
* Requirements gathering and user story creation
* Sprint planning and backlog management
* Basic understanding of web technologies (React, databases, APIs)
* Proficiency with Jira, Slack, and mockup tools
* Ability to say "no" to scope creep diplomatically
* Experience with fixed-bid and retainer project models
*Nice to Have:*
* Experimented or actually built an app in no-code or low-code environments (anything like Excel VBA, PowerQuery, Airtable, Knack, Loveable, etc.)
* Figma or similar design tool experience
* Basic SQL knowledge
* Scrum/Agile certification
* Agency experience with multiple industries
*Red Flags (Please Don't Apply If):*
* You've only worked on internal projects at large companies
* You think requirements gathering means "asking what they want"
* You've never managed developers directly
* You can't handle context switching between projects
*How to Apply - THIS IS MANDATORY:*
*Email calvin@ksensetech.com with:*
* Subject line: "Technical PM - [Your Name]"
* Your resume attached as PDF
* Link to your 2-minute video (Loom preferred) answering these THREE questions:
* *(30 seconds)* Tell us about one client project where you handled both discovery and delivery - what was the business problem and what solution did you build?
* *(60 seconds)* Pretend I'm a client who just said: "Our sales team is losing deals because our CRM doesn't talk to our inventory system." What are your first three questions for me, and why?
* *(30 seconds)* What's the hardest part about managing multiple client projects at once, and how do you handle it?
*Videos over 2:15 will be automatically disqualified.* This isn't arbitrary - following specifications precisely is crucial in this role.
*Applications without videos will be deleted unread.*
*Why Work With Us:*
* Direct impact on client success and company growth
* Remote flexibility with occasional in-person collaboration
* Small team where your contribution matters daily
* Diverse client projects (never boring)
*Interview Process:*
* Resume + video review
* 30-minute phone screen
* 60-minute technical interview (mock discovery session)
* Paid test project ($500)
* Final interview with team
