*Position: Veterinary Technician*
As a Veterinary Technician at Beaver Brook Animal Hospital, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our medical team and ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care. This position requires strong technical skills, clear and compassionate communication, and a genuine passion for animal health and welfare. Experience or certification in Fear Free handling is highly valued, as is a commitment to maintaining a calm, low-stress environment for both patients and clients.
*Qualifications:*
* Licensed or Certified Veterinary Technician (preferred or required, based on state)
* Minimum 3 years of clinical experience; prior leadership experience preferred
* Proficiency in anesthesia, dentistry, and nursing care
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in a Fear Free or low-stress handling environment is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Rotating Saturdays

Dog and Cat-non stressful restraint, IV Catheter Placement, Endotracheal Tube Placement, Ear cytology slide set and evaluate? Please state yes or no for each task.
* Do you feel confident and competent in performing x-rays on dogs and cats, as well as to instruct assistants when needed?
Education:
* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
* Veterinary technician: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
* Wethersfield, CT 06109: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
