*ABOUT NATIONAL DIZZY & BALANCE CENTER:*
National Dizzy & Balance Center (NDBC) is a unique outpatient clinic system. Specializing in diagnosing and treating patients with vestibular disorders, concussions and spine injuries. We currently utilize Physicians, Audiologists, Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapists within each of our four Twin Cities clinic locations to offer a true multidisciplinary approach to balance disorders. We are in business to improve our patients' quality of life, not just provide a medical service. *Position Overview: *The Staff Provider position with National Dizzy and Balance Center provides and/or oversees direct patient care services for outpatient patients with medical and rehabilitation needs. The Staff Provider is required to provide medical rehabilitation leadership to the team and appropriate medical decision-making in the assessment of patients, determination of rehabilitative predicted outcomes, and ongoing rehabilitation care management resulting in achievement of predicted outcomes for each assigned patient. Medical services will be provided to all rehabilitation-related diagnostic categories, with recognition of specific competencies and sub-specialties as negotiated with Medical Director. The ages of populations served are adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Specific provider may also treat pediatric patients. The providers are accountable as employed physicians to the NDBC Medical Director *.*
*Hours: *Salary at 5 days per week working 8 hour days. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday. No call, all scheduled patients. Primary clinic locations will be split between Woodbury, and Burnsville with as needed days in Bloomington and Blaine. Punctuality and good attendance are essential. Paid time off on accrual basis.
*Typical Physical Demands: *May require prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, copy and fax machines, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to record, prepare and communicate appropriately. May require lifting papers or boxes up to 50 pounds occasionally.
*Reports To: *Medical Director and Administrative Director
*Duties: *Responsible for working with the Clinical Assistant to make sure all patients have consistent care. Provide patient care through assessment, evaluation and treatment, referral. Coordinate patient care with other clinic providers, including: physicians, audiologists and physical therapists. Includes possible rotation between our four Twin Cities clinic locations. Other duties as assigned. Attend seminars and training as required by practice. Travel may be required.
*Performance Requirements:*
Experience with EMR software, Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with medical coding and third-party operating procedures and practices.
Skilled in answering the telephone in a pleasant professional manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and insurance companies.
Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
Must be able to multi-task.
Maintains the strictest confidentiality, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
*Qualifications:*
PA: Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. PA with current PA MN registration, PA certification with NCCPA.
Licensure/Certification: BLS, ACLS, DEA
Minimum 2 years practicing as PA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $104,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
