Your Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in database development with a solid understanding of database principles.
Proficient in one or more programming languages such as C, Rust, C++, or Go.
Strong foundation in computer science, encompassing algorithms, operating system internals, and data structures.
Experience with Linux-based software development and debugging.
Proven expertise in optimizing database system performance.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing database and system challenges.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
What Sets You Apart: Familiarity with distributed databases and MPP systems (such as Greenplum) and analytical engines (like Spark, DataFusion, DuckDB).
Experience working with distributed query optimizers (e.g., Orca).
Understanding of PostgreSQL internals.
Knowledge of machine learning libraries and techniques.
Experience with GitHub Actions workflows.
Prior contributions to open-source database projects are highly appreciated.
