This individual will serve as both a hands-on architect and key platform owner-translating business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions while maintaining best-in-class system governance, performance, and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration & Platform Ownership
Serve as primary administrator for Salesforce, including user management, roles, profiles, permissions, and security settings Maintain system integrity, data quality, and platform performance through proactive monitoring and optimization Manage releases, sandbox environments, and deployment processes following SDLC best practices Establish and enforce governance policies, naming conventions, and documentation standards Development & Technical Execution
Design and develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools Build and maintain custom objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, and process automation Develop integrations with third-party platforms (marketing automation, call center systems, data platforms, etc.) using APIs and middleware Optimize system architecture to support performance, scalability, and maintainability Marketing & Sales Enablement
Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to translate campaign, lead management, and funnel requirements into technical solutions Support lead lifecycle management, attribution modeling, and campaign tracking Build dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights for performance marketing and sales leadership Ensure alignment between Salesforce and marketing automation platforms (e.g., lead scoring, segmentation, data sync) Data Management & Analytics
Implement data governance best practices including deduplication, normalization, and enrichment strategies Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR where applicable) Design scalable data models that support reporting, forecasting, and attribution Monitor and improve data hygiene across all touchpoints Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategy
Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements; translate into technical specifications Provide recommendations for process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements Train and support end users to drive adoption and maximize platform value Qualifications & Requirements
5-8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a complex, multi-user environment Proven experience supporting Marketing and Sales organizations, ideally in a lead-generation or performance marketing environment Demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions Ability to adjust well in new atmosphere and have a great sense of responsibility in execution of any solution. Certifications (Required)
Required: Salesforce Administrator Certified, Salesforce Platform Developer Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer II Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in: Apex, SOQL, SOSL Familiarity with Aura (LWC preferred) Salesforce Flow and Process Automation Data modeling and schema design Experience with: REST/SOAP APIs and integrations ETL tools and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Workato) Marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo) Advanced reporting and dashboard development expertise Best Practices & Methodologies
Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices including: Declarative-first development approach Governor limits and performance optimization Secure coding and data access controls Change management and release management processes Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies Strong documentation discipline (technical specs, data dictionaries, process flows) Core Competencies
