Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the IT Manager, Data & Analytics is responsible for leading the firm's data and analytics function, ensuring reliable data platforms, actionable business intelligence, and scalable analytics solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making. This position involves managing a team of three-comprising a Data Specialist, a Business Intelligence Specialist/Developer, and a Data Engineer-while acting as the main point of contact between IT and business stakeholders on data initiatives. Additionally, the role requires direct involvement in designing and developing data solutions.
Essential Functions Lead and oversee the firm's data and analytics strategy, platforms, and delivery to ensure trusted, timely, and actionable insights across the organization. Manage and develop a high-performing data and analytics team, providing direction, coaching, and performance management. Ensure data integrity, availability, security, and governance across all reporting, analytics, and data engineering solutions. Partner with business leaders to translate business needs into data, reporting, and analytics solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Establish and continuously improve standards, processes, and best practices for data engineering, reporting, and analytics development. Responsibilities & Duties
Manage day-to-day operations of the Data & Analytics team, including workload prioritization, project planning, and resource allocation. Provide direct leadership to the Data Specialist, BI Specialist/Developer, and Data Engineer, including goal setting, coaching, and career development. Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, data models, and analytics platforms. Ensure business intelligence dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools are accurate, performant, and aligned to business needs. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Define and enforce data governance, data quality standards, and documentation practices. Partner with Information Security and IT leadership to ensure data platforms comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate, recommend, and implement data and analytics tools, technologies, and enhancements. Monitor system performance, data reliability, and usage to proactively identify and resolve issues. Support executive and leadership reporting needs, including ad hoc analysis and strategic insights. Manage vendors, consultants, or external partners related to data and analytics initiatives as needed. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience required. 5+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or related IT roles required. 2+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams required. Strong experience with data warehousing, BI/reporting platforms, and data integration concepts required. Experience with Microsoft Fabric required. Experience in financial services or a highly regulated environment preferred. Hands-on experience with modern BI tools, cloud data platforms, and analytics ecosystems preferred. Demonstrated experience establishing data governance and analytics best practices preferred. Experience with Zoho Analytics platform preferred. Self-motivated problem solver with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies. Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and apply resources to resolve complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Travel
Minimal travel expected; occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based on management's approval.

Compensation Minimum: $140,000.00 - Maximum: $150,000.00 USD
