Join Our Team as a SEN Class Teacher at Polaris Education!

Location: Morley School, Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Your Role

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Building positive relationships with students to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A strong educational background, ideally to degree level
  • Previous successful teaching experience
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
