Residential Support Worker

We are looking for enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our team in Southampton!

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Provide flexible and individualized care packages for our children and young adults.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team that values your unique contributions.
• Receive training in 'Developmental Trauma' and therapeutic parenting to enhance your ability to support our young people.

• Support children and young people, understanding the challenges they face in care.
• Work a rotating shift pattern, including 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with the children in your care.
• Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.

• Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
• A willingness to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A team player who is eager to learn and grow.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (we cover the cost!).
