Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join our rapidly expanding EMEA Data Centre sales team. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to drive new business and cultivate strategic relationships with key data centre customers, including hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise end users, contractors, and consultants.
Your MissionIn this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering both short-term wins and long-term growth for our Carrier Data Centre business. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Identify and Pursue Opportunities: Seek out net-new opportunities across hyperscaler, colocation, edge, enterprise, and replacement cycles.
Build Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic and hyperscaler accounts, fostering strong, long-lasting relationships at multiple levels.
Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineering, operations, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless delivery from order to commissioning.
Maintain a Robust Pipeline: Build and sustain an insight-led pipeline aligned with a strategic account plan.
Prospect Effectively: Run a disciplined prospecting cadence to open new buying centres and projects.
Represent Us: Be our ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance our brand and pipeline.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: Strong background in Key Account Management, sales, or business development within data centre infrastructure; HVAC/chilled-water and airside cooling experience is a plus.
Proven Track Record: Experience managing large, complex accounts and achieving ambitious targets.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with hydronic chilled-water and airside products related to data centre cooling is advantageous.
Value Proposition Skills: Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business value propositions and ROI.
Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities; excellent time management and organization.
Willingness to Travel: Flexibility to travel and utilize regional offices as needed; proficient in MS Office.
Hunter Mentality: A proactive approach to pipeline generation, resilience, and disciplined execution.
