Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead / Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale systems that power large-scale content review and governance operations for one of our clients in Dublin. This role focuses on building high-throughput data pipelines, production infrastructure, and developer tooling that supports advanced review workflows, including AI-assisted analysis. This is initially a 6 month contract role.

• Design and build scalable data pipelines that support large-scale content review operations, including data ingestion, prioritization, and queue management.
• Develop backend-agnostic storage interfaces to enable seamless interaction between internal services and multiple database or storage systems.
• Ensure data integrity and reliability by implementing deduplication logic, robust data modeling, and fault-tolerant distributed processing.
• Manage production infrastructure and deployments, including orchestration of batch and streaming workloads and maintaining secure service-to-service communication.
• Integrate and optimise review platforms and AI-assisted tools, improving performance through automation, parallel processing, and streamlined data ingestion. xcfaprz
• Drive engineering excellence by establishing development best practices, maintaining technical documentation, and implementing monitoring and troubleshooting strategies for operational reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Expert knowledge of Apache Beam / Flume
• Extensive experience with Borg, Stubby (RPC), and RpcSP
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritise work
