We are looking for a talented individual with strong expertise in Kubernetes to contribute to our cutting-edge platform. In this hands-on role, you will have the opportunity to enhance and scale our platform capabilities across a variety of environments, including data centers, private computing, and public cloud. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable services, developing essential internal platform tools, and collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate is versatile, possesses exceptional backend design skills, maintains a positive attitude, and has extensive experience writing production-ready Go code. Please note: This position requires working on a W2 basis as per client requirements. $65.00 to $70.00/hr. W2 Key Responsibilities: Develop and enhance backend systems and tools that support Kubernetes platforms across hybrid environments.
Design and implement new platform capabilities using Go.
Create robust infrastructure services and developer tools for internal teams.
Enhance platform scalability, performance, and operational integrity.
Foster collaboration across multiple engineering teams across different time zones.
Actively contribute to code development and aid in the evolution of distributed systems.
Experience Requirements: 4 to 7 years of professional experience in backend engineering.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes development, with a focus on application and platform engineering.
Expertise in Go as the primary programming language for production solutions.
Proven experience in scaling distributed backend systems and designing APIs using REST and gRPC.
A well-rounded engineering background with a history of writing significant amounts of production code.
Knowledge of containerization, developer tools, and public cloud infrastructure.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
